Qualification criteria

The candidate applying for admission to the second-degree general profile studies in "Specialized English for Business" should possess advanced knowledge, skills, and competencies in linguistics necessary for undertaking in-depth studies in the English language for business and language communication in an international environment.

To be admitted to the program, the following requirements must be met:

a)     possession of a diploma of completion of first or second-degree studies or a uniform master's degree:

• in a field of study assigned to the discipline of linguistics or
• in a field of study assigned to a discipline other than linguistics. In such a case, the candidate will be required to complete compensatory courses during their studies, including classes in advanced general knowledge in the discipline of linguistics, covering selected facts and phenomena, as well as the methods and theories explaining complex relationships between them;

b)     documented advanced knowledge of the English language at B2 level. In the case of lack of documented English language proficiency, the candidate will be required to undergo a qualification interview in English to verify their language skills (at least at B2 level);

c)     documented knowledge of a second foreign language at B2 level (options include German, French, Spanish, or Chinese). In the case of a lack of documented proficiency in the second foreign language, the candidate will be required to undergo a qualification interview in that language to verify their language skills (at least at B2 level). Graduates of foreign philology degree programs in the listed languages are exempt from the requirement to document their proficiency in that specific language.

 

Podczas rejestracji w IRK kandydaci na studia drugiego stopnia:

• wypełniają formularz - ankietę osobową;
  
• dokonują opłaty rekrutacyjnej na indywidualne konto w terminie określonym w harmonogramie rekrutacji;
  
• zamieszczają fotografię w formie elektronicznej (.jpg) (fotografia zgodna z wymaganiami obowiązującymi przy wydawaniu dowodów osobistych).
  

Kandydaci na studia drugiego stopnia umieszczeni na liście przez Wydziałową Komisję Rekrutacyjną jako zakwalifikowani do przyjęcia na studia stacjonarne i niestacjonarne winni złożyć następujące dokumenty w formie papierowej (zgodnie z harmonogramem rekrutacji):

• wydrukowany i podpisany formularz (ankietę osobową),
  
• kopię dyplomu studiów wyższych wraz z kopią suplementu (oryginał do wglądu),
• dowód wpłaty z tytułu ubiegania się o przyjęcie na studia,
• aktualną fotografię kandydata, zgodną z wymaganiami obowiązującymi przy wydawaniu dowodów osobistych oraz jedną w formie elektronicznej (.jpg)

W przypadku niewypełnienia limitu przyjęć (niedostarczenia skanów dokumentów przez kandydatów umieszczonych na liście wstępnie zakwalifikowanych), dopełnienie limitu przyjęć będzie odbywać się w dalszym ciągu jedynie na podstawie liczby punktów uzyskanych w procesie rekrutacji i miejsca na liście rankingowej. Kandydat może na bieżąco sprawdzać w systemie IRK, czy został wstępnie zakwalifikowany do przyjęcia na studia, używając swojego identyfikatora i hasła.
