Qualification criteria
Criteria for secondary school exit exam concerning the so-called "new matura" (Exam from 2005 and subsequent years)
If the number of candidates exceeds the number of places, admissions are made according to a ranking list created on the basis of a competition – weighted average of three subjects (results obtained in the secondary school exit exam; basic or extended level – extended level rewarded with a conversion factor x2):
- chemistry or biology or physics or mathematics or computer science - weight 0,5
- modern foreign language - weight 0,3
- Polish language or mathematics - weight 0,2
The result of the exam in mathematics can only be taken into account once.

If the number of candidates exceeds the number of places, admissions are made according to a ranking list created on the basis of a competition – weighted average of three subjects:
- chemistry or biology or physics or mathematics or computer science - weight 0,5
- modern foreign language - weight 0,3
- Polish language or mathematics - weight 0,2
The result of the exam in mathematics can only be taken into account once.
Candidates applying for admission to studies will be referred for medical examinations to an occupational medicine doctor. If any contraindications to study are found, the candidate may not apply for admission to this field of study.
Students with a secondary school exit examination certificate may apply for admission to the first-degree Chemistry studies (full-time) with an academic profile, regardless of what additional subjects they chose during the secondary school exit exam. Admission to studies is determined by the number of points obtained (ranking), until reaching the limit of available places.
